Our restaurant offers the highest quality A5 rank Wagyu beef.

Generally speaking, foreign beef is the mainstream at steakhouses in Okinawa. (Even if it’s a famous store)

This is because, under Japanese law, steakhouses are not required to display the country of origin of their beef.

In other words, there are only a few steakhouses that list the origin of their beef in their menu books. Even if it is written, it will not be A5 rank.

If you would like to know where the meat is produced and its rank, it is best to ask the steakhouse directly.

OKINAWA ORIGINAL STEAK HOUSE 473 is a rare steakhouse that uses the highest grade Wagyu from Okinawa, A5 rank.

Since our restaurant specializes in beef, we display the production area and rank in our menu book.

If you are coming to Okinawa from overseas, we highly recommend that you try the highest quality Okinawan Wagyu.

Even our staff who live in Okinawa do not usually have the opportunity to eat A5 rank Wagyu. It’s a treat to eat on special days.

Finally, please note that the beef called “Japanese beef” is not Wagyu either. Japanese beef is a type of beef that is imported from a foreign country and raised in Japan.

“Wagyu” is an ancient Japanese cow that was born and raised in Japan. In other words, it is an ancient Japanese variety.
