Kings gather in the Sanctuary
Welcome to Steakhouse 473. This is the “Sanctuary” where those who love the ultimate steak finally arrive.
Why does the “Best Meat in Japan” gather here in Okinawa, rather than Tokyo or Kyoto? The answer lies in our roots and the trust we have built. 473 began with a humble “Okinawa Soba” shop run by my grandparents in post-war Okinawa. It blossomed by fusing with the steak culture under the U.S. administration, growing into something unique. As the legitimate successor of the “Classic Steakhouse” born from Okinawa’s history, we have carved a history of transforming from “Okinawa’s Representative” to “Japan’s Representative Steakhouse.” Before we knew it, our reputation crossed borders, becoming a special “Sanctuary” visited by dignitaries, politicians, and even Hollywood stars. Here,“Authentic” people who know the world gather. And strangely enough,“Top-tier ingredients” are naturally drawn to those who understand their value. Producers say, “We can entrust this champion beef to 473’s guests.” Thus, “Phantom meat” normally kept secret and“Miraculous cuts” unavailable even in Tokyo’s luxury restaurants gather here, crossing the ocean to Okinawa. This is the true reason we can host the“Wagyu Summit.” Our beloved local “Okinawa Wagyu.”
And the absolute kings of Japan,“Kobe Beef” and “Matsusaka Beef.” The fact that they all meet here is no mere coincidence. It is an inevitability drawn by the “Magnetic Field” called 473. The history that started from a small Soba shop has finally reached the “Sanctuary” where global VIPs and the pinnacle of Wagyu intersect.
Please, experience the finest steak of your life with your own senses.

A Private Sanctuary for the World’s Elite
Silence is the ultimate spice for steak.
Just a few steps away from the hustle of Kokusai Street, there lies a “Sanctuary” where global VIPs secretly visit. Executives, artists, top athletes…
Why do these individuals, who fight under immense pressure every day, choose 473? The reason is simple: this is not just a restaurant, but a “complete hideaway” isolated from all noise. We have deliberately limited the number of seats. This is to protect the highest level of privacy and create a space designed solely for facing the“world’s best flavor.” Here, you will find only dim lighting, exquisite steak, and tropical tranquility.
Please, leave your titles at the door and relax.
In this silence, the steak reveals its true potential.

Three Miracles Gather Here

Point01
THE WAGYU SUMMIT
~ Experience Japan’s No.1 Steak ~
Three Kings that normally never cross paths:
“Phantom Okinawa Wagyu,” “Kobe Beef,” and “Matsusaka Beef.”
The “Wagyu Summit,” where they unite under one roof, is a miracle orchestrated by 473.
Why was this realized?
It is because of the“Trust” we have built over many years.
Responding to the producers’ belief that “We can entrust our masterpieces to 473,” only the rare pinnacle of the A5 rank (BMS No.12) gathers at this table.
This is not merely a meal.
Be a witness to this historical “convergence.”
Point02
The Forbidden Treasure ~ Exclusive Access to the “Phantom” ~
Why is the“Phantom Chateaubriand,” rare even in Tokyo’s top luxury restaurants, available here in Okinawa? The answer lies in our roots and our track record. In addition to our strong connections with the founding family’s butcher shop, our reputation as a “gathering place for global VIPs” attracts the finest ingredients. “Top-quality meat gathers where there are people who understand its value.” This powerful “Magnetic Field” is the unique strength of 473 that no other restaurant can imitate. We unlock this “Forbidden Treasure” exclusively for you.

Point03
The Proof of the Sanctuary
~ The Final Destination ~

Remember this fact: “473” is the only place in Japan where the absolute pinnacle of beef miraculously converges. You need not search any further. The summit of steak is now right before your eyes.

GUEST INFORMATION
- Do you welcome solo diners or families with children??
-
Yes, absolutely. The Sanctuary is open to all who appreciate true quality. Whether you are a solo diner seeking the “ultimate luxury” of facing the world’s best steak in silence, or a family wishing to share an unforgettable memory with the “next generation of gourmets.” We welcome guests of all ages and styles. Please feel free to enjoy the Sanctuary in your own perfect way.
- Is this a Yakiniku or Teppanyaki style restaurant??
-
No. We are an “Authentic Classic Steakhouse” inheriting post-war American culture.
Okinawa has a deep history where authentic steak culture took root under U.S. administration. We are the legitimate successors of that tradition. We are also distinctly different from the U.S.-based luxury steakhouses found in Tokyo. While they are foreign-owned chains serving mainly “US Beef,” 473 serves Japan’s treasures: “Okinawa Wagyu, Kobe Beef, and Matsusaka Beef,” and we are proud to be a locally owned family business. We grill the world’s finest “Wagyu” using the American “Thick Cut” technique. This fusion of “American Culture” and “Japanese Ingredients” is the final evolution of steak. The substantial texture of a thick cut (which Teppanyaki lacks) combined with the rich umami of Wagyu (which US beef lacks). We promise you the “No.1 Steak Experience in Japan” that possesses the best of both worlds.
